Broker (stock)

Broker — a licensed intermediary through which you access a stock exchange; you cannot trade the PSE directly. The established PH online names: COL Financial, GStocks (inside GCash), DragonFi, First Metro Sec, BPI Trade — commissions are near-identical (~0.25% + fees), so choose on interface and onboarding. Offshore brokers serve the same role for foreign exchanges, with the regulatory caveats of lesson 1.6.
