Coupon

Coupon — the fixed interest payment a bond makes, set at issuance and paid on schedule (quarterly, for RTBs) until maturity. “6.00% gross” on a ₱100k RTB means ₱6,000 a year — ₱4,800 net after the 20% final withholding tax — landing in four quarterly installments. Unlike MP2’s floating declared dividend, a coupon is a contract.
