Investment policy statement (IPS)

Investment policy statement (IPS) — the one-page constitution that makes your future self obey your present, calmer self. Sections: purpose & horizon; target weights (five sleeves + the USD/PHP split); contribution rule; rebalancing rule (bands, contributions-first); the never list (products this portfolio does not buy, pre-written); and trigger rules for drawdowns. Every rule one sentence, every rule checkable by a stranger reading the dashboard — “stay calm” is not a rule; “rebalance at 5-point drift, contributions first” is. Its power is entirely in when it’s written: before the crash it exists to govern.
