Phase gate

Phase gate — a written condition that must be evidenced before a long-range plan advances to its next phase: “recurring ≥ 60% of revenue,” “portfolio DSCR ≥ 1.5,” “offer ≥ ₱X accepted.” The years attached to phases are planning rhythm; the gates are the actual advancement mechanism — you pass on proof, not on time served. Borrowed from engineering programs because the failure it prevents is the same: proceeding on schedule into a phase the evidence doesn’t support.
