Private markets

Private markets — assets that don’t trade on an exchange: private equity, venture capital, private debt, direct property. The opposite of public markets. Illiquid by construction, access-gated in practice, and the largest slice of exited-entrepreneur portfolios (Tiger 21’s biggest asset class) — partly because those investors’ own next businesses live there.
